FASHION: THE HITS & THE MISSES AT THE FLOWER GIRL PREMIER

In Lagos, the red carpet is such a big deal and i trust my ever red carpet ready stars to put their bright foot forward at all times. I watched the trailer of this movie-flower girl twice or trice online and was hoping it'd premier before i relocate but sadly just a few days after i left Nigeria, they held the premier. And from the words on people's mouth via social media, it is a good movie. I am looking forward to it. But my interest more is the FASHION at the premier which held on the 13th of February at the Silverbird Galleria.

TV Presenter Eku Edewor looked nice in Bunmi Koko but when a particular piece of yours is being over-flogged,it somewhat becomes a crime. In this case, her Valentino pointies. I know this shoe is trending right now amongst a few fashionistas. Overall look, very chic.

The movie "it" girl Damilola Adegbite looked to me like she doesnt know her stand when it comes to what to wear. From her facial expression, you can tell she's not quite confident in her dress choice. For a lead character, this dress is a no-no. Better choices out there. And boy, sweetheart needs to hit the gym. You can't keep up like this in such a competitive market.

Radio host Toke Makinwa wore on of my best looks of her to this premier and i love the well toned and groomed look she opted for. Love the colour flow.
Toke Makinwa
Karen Young i have known to rock mainly black colours. It must be her favorite colour and guess what, she never goes wrong in it. This is such a look for a guest at a movie premier. Love her pants.

I started following Michelle Dede's style after she became my favorite at Rita Dominic's movie-The Meeting which premiered sometime last year. I think she understands composure. Here i am a bit confused on the upper part of the dress but i love she understood the rule of minimal jewelry which made the outfit work perfectly. And those pumps... Way to go girl... By the way she was the co-producer of the movie Flower Girl.

Venita "Veezee Bahbey" Akpofure... No! No!! No!!! You don't attend movie premier you didn't even get a "waka pass" roll in dressed like this. Whose shine were you planning to steal? Even if the leading actresses wore rags, nobody would look at you. by featuring in the movie, they already own the night. This is just wrong. Now you are allowed to re-rock this dress to a date with your boyfriend if there's any. Lol!

No doubt Chris Attoh is one of the leading men in today's African movies especially with his role in the daily soap Tinsel. And we have all come to like his appearance in the traditional white and black crisp ensemble which are very well tailored and fit. Am just wondering who made this choice of colour for Chris and forgot to tell him the fit isn't as good as his mirror told him.

"Never gets it wrong" Lynxx looked dapper like he got the style memo.

I absolutely love Tiwa's make-up here. It's different and refreshing but the dress for me is a no. Maybe her standing position or what not... From her look at Agbani's birthday to the white herve ledge at MAC launch... the style parameter should keep going up.
Tiwa Savage
Movie producer/director Michelle Bello opted for the elegant lady look and bang... She got it perfectly. In my books, this is called "elegant in red".

Glam report TV producer Bola Balogun's style i love in so many ways. And the fact that she refreshes the tone always gives me sweet-tooths. Love her crop pants here and pairing them with pointies is just a killer.

Yet another elegant lady in red. Never under estimate simplicity is all i can say here about Elohor Aisien's look.

I am shocked at Yets Asika's weight loss. She looks good and in this purple knee length drape, i think it's a case of "i rocked the dress".
Yets Asika
In my books, Dj Caise is one of the most stylish men in Nigeria's music scene. it is very evident in his looks. I liked how he rocked this paisley design print shirt. As a trend follower, prints are so in,making Caise bang on the trend track.

In my own books, this is what i think about the fashion at the flower girl movie premier... Lets know  your own thoughts on the comment section... xx

Head To Toe...a hawt mess. When suiting, its all in the FIT. This just reflects your total lapse of taste.

she's starting to define her own sense of style which is very good. Love the fit and proportion, the colour sync of the peplum and sequinned mini is nufng short of delecious, not sure of the shoes but she looks well put together. Tres chic.

A beautiful knee length dress on. Beautyful woman.I love how the colour compliments her skin tone in a very sensual way but I'm not sure I love the entire presentation of this dress on her. The bust area is to busy with all the architectural details, the hair and make up look a little fall-out for me.

I'm love struck on Ekus sense of style,I mean, she can wear a distressed tee and make it look like the new reinvented chic. Wda given her a perfect score if this ensemble was rocked to a concert or a store opening...but for a movie premier, naah naah darling, very underwhelming,so not cool.

Damilola...Please,Make This Stop!!!
You attend your own premier in the most unflattering garment that's too tight and has the puckerings of the world on it and u seal it with that signature boring ponytail . Hunnay, there's a difference between Fit and Snug and you should get with that programme. No evils.
