And it's always an exciting moment and adrenalin rush moment within that thirty seconds of "the most beautiful girl in Nigeria is"… I really miss those moments, and my reason is very obvious,simply because i'm not excited about the contestants anymore. What happen to the eyes that picked up the likes of Bianca Onoh Ojukwu who was crown in 1988.

WOW OH WOW! I am completely blown away with the sexiness and glamour put together by these catwalk Queens on the cover of the new edition of WOW magazine. There is a feeling i get seeing some of my favorite Nigerian models on the runway at fashion shows but its a whole new feeling when i see them on fashion editorials or covers of magazines. This is simply STUNNING! The cover features Beth Model Africa's Chika,Doyin,Isio,Marcia,Bukola,Banke,Shola and Opeyemi.

I see them arguing what to wear to the Beck's dinner or Oprah's dinner…Lol! Designer Victoria Beckham just announce she has team up with Range Rover for a special edition  SUV named VBEvoque.
The stylish mother of four and wife of soccer superstar David Beckham announced via Twitter saying, ” So excited about my new Range Rover #VBEvoque special editio!! Xx vb”.

I can only imagine how fabulous and grand this SUV will be having seen the interior of the Range Rover Evoque.

I had partied the night before with my friends so i was obviously lazy to do anything other than picking my Aunty Zukilicious who's flying in from Ghana that morning. Reaching the airport,all thanks to delayed flight as i had to wait two extra hours before they finally landed. I was so tired and just needed to eat and sleep.[For crying out loud,its a saturday].
As we were driving a call came in and it was for the press conference of a film in the making-Doctor Bello which features Hollywood's Isaiah Washington, Jimmy Jean Louis, Vivica A. Fox and Nollywood's Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke amongst others at the Radisson Blu hotels,so we headed straight there. After the press conference which i thought took longer than it should have, we decided to go have some rest before the AMAA's pre-award party but hey! Another call came in and this time i was for an impromptu press conference for the press to meet with the international stars that came into town for the Africa movie academy awards 2012. This didn't take so long but very nice as i got to have exclusive interviews for Excite on TV with all the Hollywood stars {don't mind my dry show off} but hey i met them and they were super cool without airs. So after the broadcast on Excite on TV where i work, i am definitely going to upload the videos here for y'all to watch... But hey! I made some photos with my Aunty's camera and here we go....

The most anticipated luxury brand Ella&Gabby finally launched at the prestigious Oriental Hotel recently. It's creative director and head designer Ada Mgbudem showcased an exquisite and impressive array of garments before the fashion savvy crowd of Lagos. It was indeed an outstanding entrance into the world of fashion for this newbie in the game and she certainly did not disappoint. The show was anchored by the stylish Ifeoma Williams and sultry crooner Tiwa Savage also performed several of her hit tracks to the delight of guests. Recently wedded Timi Dakolo was also a guest performer at the show.

TAKE THE RISK AND MAKE IT WORK BABY!

Exactly one week to the AY Live which was on the 8th of April 2012,i was really bothered about what to wear to the show. But then i always say when that day comes,i'll definitely figure out something. The morning of the show,i picked out a lilac colour trouser i've never worn from my box and immediately loved it and was pondering on what shirt to go with it. I thought for a while and settled for white. But then i wasn't satisfied then i called my aunty Zukilicious and bestie Keke who are  always my rescue to such moments and they said "Efe get a pink shirt",i was like are you guys sure? Still not satisfied,I asked another person Kay Johnson whom i think is one of the most stylish men i know personally and he said pink too,at that moment i became double sure and then got a pink plunging neck tee with sequence on the neck line... I have never been this bright but the looked worked perfectly after i toned it down with my bronze colour blazer,black patent skin shoes and belt.

Purple and pink combo is definitely not for the faint hearted,I love my retro street look with a formal touch. Thats the fine thin line between being fashionable and being stylish.... It takes alot of guts to let purple and pink flirt with each other and am happy i'm able to make it work...Yay!!!

MY DEBUT ON THE RUNWAY

I have been a follower of the Yomi Casual designs since last year after i saw the harem pant and waist coat he made for his brother[AY the comedian] at the AY live 2011. I loved how AY wore it with a plunging v-neck tee too. It was such a bold look and smack on trend at that time.  So it didn't take long for Yomi to convince me to open his presentation at the 2012 AY Live alongside models Gbenro Ajibade,Kenneth Okolie, Ejiro Crozz and Kenneth Nwadike. I am happy i didn't goof on my debut on the runway... I also love the fact i had to retain my personal style regardless of my outfit.. And hey, I got the outfit as a gift after the show... Yippee!!!

THE VELVET ROUGE EYEWEAR COLLECTION

Yay! I had a very interesting chat with my friend Funmi Fagbemi who is also a fashion enthusiast. We talk a lot about everything from fashion to relationships etc… A few weeks ago,she told me about her eyewear collection she called "VELVET ROUGE EYEWEAR COLLECTION". From the pictures,it takes a brave heart to rock these glasses but then,there is no crime in experimenting with fashion because i've already seen some i think i like to wear… According to Funmi,they range from 10,000 Naira[$65] to 175,000Naira[$1500] depending on the material a particular one is made of. I can't wait to see party rockers begin to rock this piece as seen on the likes of Lady Gaga,Lenny Kravitz,Katy Perry etc... But then i hope no one wears this and try to anything to me considering the sharp spikes... LOL!

Here's a guest at the 2012 Arise magazine fashion week in a tie-neck puff hand  blouse and baloon shorts with sandals. I thought the look was way too busy especially with the hair piece so i thought i hear from you guys... So,is this a FAB or a DRAB look?

TREND ALERT:UGONNA UMERUO

Who would have ever thought the denim on denim trend will ever come back? Nobody i bet...Well,its a trend we are slowly loving and i don't see it going anywhere for a long time. Here's designer Ugonna Umeruo of House of Nwocha looking hot in blue denim on denim making her waist the focal point by tying it a Dolce & Gabanna patent red belt. iLike!

USHER IN A SEA OF BLUES...

With fashion,you either get a HIT or a MISS. This time though,Usher got a big HIT from me for his choice of blue shades. He wore various shades of blue and a bold animal print sneakers. 

First i love how he picked shades of a particular colour,pretty much not easy to rock this look. but Usher tied it well.

Secondly,stripes are very in now and Usher is right on trend. Now is there really any guy that doesn't accessorize these days with either bangles,bracelets or a tiny neck piece? Well,if you don't,try some from H&M or River-Island out.

FASHIONABLE QUESTION:WHAT TO WEAR? TREY SONGS TAKES US THROUGH HIS GQ CLOSET

I absolutely love it when GQ feature celebrities and style them for their "best looks". In this feature,R&B singer Trey Songz gives us tips of what sports jackets every guy should have in his closet. I think i totally agree with him even if i do not have all of it. I must make an effort to do so. These looks are amazing,playful, but yet serious and very "you can't but notice me".

I was actually not a fan of boots until i saw how cute and cool it looked on a few people i think are very stylish. So when i saw these Andrea boots by Alexander Wang i thought "oh i need me some". Hopefully i must grab a pair soon. I think they are very cute especially for those chilly days you just want to feel cool n urban in a nice dressy Tee and skinnies...
