TREND ALERT: Denim on Denim
I was super excited when this trend from the 70s and 80s era sprung up again and this time, fashionistas all over the world didn't slow down on it. I particularly loved the trend and the fact that it's playful with an urban touch. It was all over the runway in 2011 and it doesn't look like this trend is going to fade anytime soon because of how easy it is to accessorize it to get different looks. In October 2011 when the Lagos fashion and design week debuted,i was a bit confused as to what look to rock for the opening and i called a few of my stylish and fashion forward friends and guess what,they were all facing the same problem i'm facing...Lol!
So this was how i ended up looking for the opening...
